am a a regular at the Manassas Center for the Arts. Some of the exhibits "grab me", some, not so much. I usually visit every exhibit a couple of times before making up my mind. Today, I stopped by to take a look at Leslie Nolan's exhibit. It took my breath away. I enjoyed every single picture... and particularly liked the "Underground" series. I literally "pulled up a chair" to spend some time enjoying Underground #8. Check it our for yourself. It's worth the trip, and Okra's is right down the street.

Thanks for the thoughtful comments. To me the worst crime about an artwork is to bore the viewer. Any response is better than ho-hum. I'd rather repel, horrify, or outrage people than put them in a coma. My preference is to make the work a bit of a mystery - to not connect all the dots, but rather let the viewer interpret the piece.
